I’m such a superfan too. After meeting someone I admire, I always feel like my body is melting and I want to run outside and scream. It’s totally primal and overwhelming!

Anyways, reading this made me feel really good about what I’ve been doing, so thank you. <3

This is looong overdue, but I wanted to share some favorite BoJack characters I designed in collaboration with our lead character artist from season one: Zan Czyzewski ! She helped to flesh out all these turnarounds so beautifully, plus she can draw the everlovin’ heck out of a pair of wedge sneakers. <3

Hi Erica! I mostly use Sennelier watercolors on Stonehenge paper. I also love Arches cold-pressed 90-lb for bigger paintings. It’s all been trial, error, and change. Bristol and Rives BFK used to be my faves, now I think they’re gross!

You could get single sheets of different papers from the art store, cut ‘em up smaller, and do a bunch of paintings to test! Experimentation is never a waste. Have no fear.

also there are tons of goats in BoJack Horseman! At one point I asked co-workers to stop drawing goats, there were too many. People just love goats.
